Approving And Declining Staff Application For Employment
The school portal admin monitors all applications and has the privilege to approve or decline applications. All applicants who apply for employment have their records stored on the list of pending applications until it is approved or declined. To approve or disapprove applications, follow the steps below -
- Login to your school admin dashboard
- On the left navigation, click on Staff Manager Menu on the left navigation bar
- You will see the Staff Employment Sub-Menu Highlighted and the pending list table also highlighted as shown below -
- You can see that on the pending list, there are three applicants. Two of the applicants did not complete their profile while one did.
- The applicants who did not complete their profile are two and only one completed his profile.
- The school portal admin can complete Profile Setup for the applicants who did not complete their profile by clicking on the SETUP PROFILE button on one of the fields.
- To Approve, Decline or Delete an application for employment, the school administrator needs to first navigate to the pending list and check the profile of each applicant to see their records and credentials to know if they are qualified for the job.
- To check the profile of any applicant on the pending list, click on the action button of that applicant’s record.

And click on the See Profile menu as shown in the picture below -

It brings you to a profile page of the applicant where you can view all information entered by the
applicant and can also view all credential documents uploaded as shown below -

After you have viewed credentials and records of each applicant then you go back to the pending and
click on the action button to the right end of the applicant record and click the appropriate menu
to
either Approve, Decline or Delete the applicant.


Before you can approve any applicant from the pending list, the applicant must complete his profile.
However, when you click the approve button to approve the application of the applicant, it enables you to check and reassign the role to the applicant in case the applicant did not choose the suitable role for his employment.
The approval process also allows you to add an additional role (A second role) to the applicant incase if the applicant will be employed to handle dual roles.

However, the school admin can also bypass the application process and just go straight to the list of approved applications and add a staff there directly. Here is it below -
